From Rock Bottom to Moving Forward

From Rock Bottom to Moving Forward

I sat at the kitchen table, staring into my coffee. Cold. Untouched.

It wasn’t the coffee, though. It was me.

A tired entrepreneur, barely holding it all together. My schedule was a disaster—meetings, projects, deadlines—stacked so high I couldn’t see daylight.

I worked from sunrise to midnight. Seven days a week. I wasn’t working out. I wasn’t eating well. My body felt like it was falling apart, and my mind was worse.

My wife and kids noticed. Of course, they did. The laughter in our home had been replaced with tension. They missed the happiness I used to bring.

I didn’t know where to start.

Then, one day, I called Greg.

Greg Bowles—my best friend for almost 20 years. A performance coach. Someone who had been there for me before.

He listened. Didn’t interrupt. Didn’t judge. He just listened.

Then, after a pause, he asked, “What do you want to change?”

It was such a simple question, but it stuck with me. What did I want to change?

Greg encouraged me. He didn’t push. He didn’t give me a checklist or a plan I couldn’t follow. He supported me. Held me accountable.

At first, it felt impossible. But slowly, day by day, I started to rebuild. I began walking 30 minutes each day. That turned into gym sessions. I reset my diet.

Most importantly, I took responsibility.

It took months—maybe a year—but I could feel the difference. My energy came back. Laughter started to echo in my home again.

Greg was there through it all, coaching me, holding me accountable.

Now, looking back, I see how far I’d fallen. It feels like a bad dream. One I’ll never let come true again.

That’s why Greg and I started Move Forward.

We’ve both been there—making choices we regret, feeling stuck, feeling alone. That’s what so many professionals face. No one to guide them. No one to hold them accountable.

And accountability changes everything.

With accountability, you gain clarity.

You become more productive.

You make better decisions.

You feel less stressed.

You move forward.

That’s what we do. We stand by people who are ready to take the next step.

You don’t have to go it alone.

Take the first step. Let us help you.
